An ISO 20022-compliant data pipeline for international wires at a top-10 US bank — the reference architecture for a new centralized risk-tech department.

Boxshop's principal led this work as Principal Data Engineer in the bank's risk-tech organization. He architected a greenfield, ISO 20022-compliant pipeline for international wires whose design became the template for every pipeline that followed, and which helped secure $20M to stand up a new centralized risk-tech department. The platform ran on a serverless AWS stack (Glue, Step Functions, S3, DynamoDB) with automated regional failover and no single point of failure.
